Custom Seed Mixes

My own DELUXE PARROT MIX, 25 pounds, $25, or $2 per pound.  The seeds in this mix are the seeds parrots like and eat--sunflower, safflower, peanuts, buckwheat, millet and more.  It was designed for very little waste.  And there are no vitamins or pellets or funky colored ingredients; just fresh, wholesome seeds because I want you to add the best vitamins, pellets and fresh fruits and vegetables to your birds' diets. 

BEANE'S SPROUTS, My own sprout mix, 25 pounds, $25, or $2 per pound.  My customers prefer it because of high germination.  The ultimate in fresh food! 

PUDGY BUDGIE, a slight redesign of my famous small bird mix that helps keep parakeets, cockatiels and other small birds from becoming obese.  25 pounds, $25, or $2 per pound. 

BEANE'S BEANS, the new Soak & Cook.  My own mix of local soybeans plus red wheat, popcorn, peas and brown rice.  25 pounds for $25 or $2 per pound. 

Millet Sprays - Wholesome treats for large and small birds:  $3.75 per pound.

Micracine Enhance and Micracine Nurture are special blends of probiotics, trace minerals and beneficial herbs thought to boost the immune system.  Micracine Enhance is for weaned/adult birds; Micracine Nurture is for babies that are being handfed.  If you are hand feeding babies, Micracine Nurture will give you an edge.  Add it to their formula once a day or more often.  I use it with pure water as the first feeding for newly hatched babies from the incubator.

Sanitation

KennelSol is the favorite disinfectant in the pet industry.  Use it to soak syringes, clean cages, mop your floors, wash your walls.  It's the answer when you want a powerful germ killer that is safe to use around baby birds and other animals.  KennelSol is a no-rinse solution that leaves a fresh, wintergreen scent.  It is a concentrate, so a little goes a long way and is very economical to use. 

KennelSol will extend the life of your syringes better than any other product I have used.  And it is kind to most people's hands. 

  • Pint - $10

Vionex Lotion (used to be called Scrubcare).  I first ordered this product to treat the cracked, sore feet of an old macaw.  Since then I have found that it treats a myriad of skin problems on pets and people.  This is the best product I have found for treating navels of incubator-hatched babies.  Also, every day I rub it on the feet of heavy bodied babies such as greys, Amazons and cockatoos, to keep them moisturized and prevent constricted toes.  Vionex Lotion is better than most ointments and salves, and is a real lifesaver for handfeeders' hands.  18 ounce pump dispenser -- $12
