Now the old Soak & Cook recipe is made in the Midwest. Your birds will love this simple mix of soybeans, red wheat, popcorn, peas and whole grain brown rice. Simply soak it overnight, boil it for at least 20 minutes the next morning, cool and serve. A favorite of birds feeding babies, and a great advantage in weaning babies.

Are you a sprouter? Growing your own sprouts is an economical, nutritious way to give your birds the benefits of live food. You can experiment without expensive purchases or specialized equipment. Pudgy Budgie Mix
My popular low fat mix for small birds is back in production. It is designed to reduce the weight of fat cockatiels, lovebirds and parakeets. Other small birds such as parrotlets and grass parakeets like it, too. Unlike conventional parakeet seed mixes which contain three kinds of seeds, this mix contains nine different different seeds for improved nutrition and variety. It is an excellent maintenance seed for birds that are already at good weight. I use it as the main seed mix for my breeder cockatiels, and my green cheek conures think it is delicious.
