I'm not savvy enough to design a fancy order page, and many of the products I sell are too heavy to have a simple shipping charge, so if you have questions about my products or want to order something--and I really hope you do--please call me or send me an e-mail at charlene@beanesbirds.com or beanesbirds@msn.com. I will try to answer your questions and let you know how much your order will cost after I add the shipping charge to your total.
I ship heavy boxes, as well as liquids and lotions, via UPS. Smaller orders are shipped through the post office, often in Flat Rate Boxes. They are treated as Priority Mail but are charged by box rather than weight. The postage is $8.95 within the US for anything I can fit in these standardized boxes. For example, one of these boxes will hold 6 pounds of Lory Life, or two 4.4 pound bags of Tropican pellets or Tropimixes, or 11 pounds of Tropican baby food or 10 pounds of my custom seed mixes. If you live in a place where I can save you money by shipping through the postal service, I'll do it.
Then you can send me a check or money order, or put it on your credit card by using PayPal (https://www.paypal.com). I do not take credit cards directly. I have been marketing and shipping pet products for almost 20 years and take pride in the information support and fast service I give my customers, so if my ordering process is a little clumsy, I promise I'll make it up to you in other ways.
